This week, our Erasmus+ DREAMER team is undertaking a highly focused and successful study visit to Ireland, generously hosted by South East Technological University (SETU). This intensive visit has been designed to combine invaluable field insights with deep, collaborative project work, driving forward the next stages of the DREAMER initiative.

Highlights from the Field

The trip has provided a rich mix of cultural and practical experiences across the region:

  • Welcome Walk at Trinity College Dublin: An inspiring start to the week, setting a high academic benchmark.

  • Construction Site Visit at the Children’s Hospital in Dublin: Gaining crucial, real-world insight into complex project management and construction challenges.

  • Cultural Walk at Glendalough: A memorable opportunity to appreciate Ireland’s historical landscape and foster team cohesion.

Working Sessions at SETU (Waterford)

The core project work has been conducted at SETU’s Waterford campus, demonstrating progress on key deliverables:

  • Refining module templates and structure.

  • Monitoring the overall project implementation timeline.

  • Discussing PMI Global contribution.

  • Reviewing the latest syllabus assessment results to ensure high quality and relevance.

  • Site Visit to the North Quays Project: A practical examination of a major regional development initiative.

  • Informal partner networking in the charming coastal town of Tramore.
